The Ukrainian troops who were part of the NATO mission in Kosovo have completed their mission and left to go to the front of the war, to join the resistance against Russia.
On the occasion of this event, the Kosovo authorities organized a farewell ceremony attended by the American ambassador in Pristina, Jeffrey Hovenier, as well as some of the top leaders of KFOR.
The American diplomat thanked the Ukrainian troops for their contribution in Kosovo and wished them success in the new mission against Putin's Russian army.
"I wish them the best as they go home to defend the country from the Kremlin's brutal war," Hovenier writes.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Kosovo to join the Kiev army has been delayed several times.
