Ukraine was helped by the Americans to hit the ship "Moskva"?

The Pentagon has denied that it provided any specific information to Ukraine about the targeting of the Moscow-based missile cruiser, which was the pride of Moscow's Russian photo in the Black Sea.

"We did not provide Ukraine with specific information about Moscow's targeting," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said in a statement Thursday night.

"We were not involved in the decision of the Ukrainians to hit the ship or the operation they are carrying out. "We had no prior knowledge of Ukraine's intention to target the ship," he said, according to CNN.

Ukraine claimed to have hit the two-rocket ship Neptune in mid-April. The ship then sank while being towed to port for repairs. Russia said the damage to the ship was the result of an ammunition explosion.

"The Ukrainians have their own intelligence capabilities to track and target Russian naval vessels, as they did in this case," Kirby added.
