More than 20 thousand people have lost their lives from Monday's powerful earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, with thousands more injured, while the damage is extraordinary.

In such a situation where thousands of volunteers are working together with search and rescue groups to find survivors under the rubble, the mobilization is extraordinary among the Turkish population, but not only.

The action of a child of only 8 years has received the attention of the media in Turkey. The desire of the 8-year-old from Karabük was great to give his help and he did everything he could. He discovered his savings together with his younger brother and there were only 28 lira, which is a little more than 1.3 euros. Along with them, he also wrote a letter.

"28 lira from my savings. Get well soon my Turkey! I would like to build everything from scratch. Unfortunately, we're not in good shape, that's all I could do. We collected the money together with my brother. May God be with you!", the 8-year-old wrote in the letter that has gone viral.
