Customers of a hotel in Alaska found potentially sensitive documents detailing plans for the summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, apparently left behind by careless officials.

Eight pages, apparently produced by U.S. staff, included the phone numbers of government staff members, the exact meeting locations and times, as well as lunch plans for the summit.

They were left behind in one of the public printers at the Captain Cook Hotel, a four-star hotel 20 minutes from the Anchorage airbase where the summit took place.

According to NPR, the printed sequence of events was supposed to include a business lunch, with a simple menu of salad, fillet mignon and brûlée cream.

The menu said that the "lunch" was "in honor of His Excellency Vladimir Putin".

But the lunch was apparently canceled, as was a planned presentation of a gift of an American table decoration with the white eagle, which Trump allegedly planned to give to Putin.
