Trump: I will require a drug test for Biden before the debate

The former American president, Donald Trump, said that he will debate with the head of the White House, Joe Biden, but on the condition that he is tested for the use of drugs.

"I want to argue with him. But I will ask for the drug test. I don't want him to come out like he did at the State of the Union (annual speech before Congress) where he was on drugs," Trump said during a meeting in Minneapolis.

He also criticized CNN moderator Jake Tapper, who is slated to moderate the debate, but said he would hold his own against him and expected him to be fair.

The first debate between Trump and Biden will take place on June 27 on CNN, at the central television studios in Atlanta, Georgia. The second debate will take place on September 10 on the other American television, ABC.

The debates held between them in 2020 turned into chaos where both candidates shouted at each other. This year's presidential elections will be held on November 5. Biden is seeking a second term in the White House, while Trump is seeking a comeback after losing four years ago.
