The tragedies with illegal immigrants in the La Manche channel are back, a few days after the media from both sides of the coasts had echoed the news that for a long time illegal trips by rafts destined for the United Kingdom had been missing.

AFP reports that 4 migrants died on Sunday morning in French waters while trying to cross the shortest sea route to Britain.

About 70 migrants were on the boat that sank, as most of them were rescued by the French coast guard, but also the English one.

According to sources, the migrants who lost their lives were from Syria and Iraq.

The migrants ran into trouble shortly after the boat left the French coast for England at around 2am on Sunday morning.
