The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, reacted after Friday's events in Zubin Potok, Zveçan and Leposaviç.

He asked the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to be careful and not take uncoordinated actions with international partners.

"The political impasse with the local Kosovo Serbs in that part can only be resolved through open dialogue with them. Kosovo does not have the luxury of acting alone and uncoordinated with international friends in overcoming the situation created in the north. I appeal to the Serbian citizens and to the institutions of Kosovo to do their utmost to calm the situation", said Haradinaj.

During the day, a number of Serbian protesters gathered around the municipal facilities of the three northern municipalities, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Zvecan.

Their goal was to prevent the presidents elected on April 23 from going to their workplaces. For this reason, the intervention of the police was necessary.
