Israeli tanks break Gaza siege, Netanyahu: Ready for major ground attack

This footage shows the moments when Israeli tanks break through the border fence and enter the territory of the Gaza Strip.

It is not about the launch of the large retaliatory ground attack, which has been expected for days, but about a partial intervention in the northern areas.

The Israeli government announced that the attack hit several Hamas targets in the northern areas of Gaza.

However, the intervention of the tanks was part of the preparations for the next stages that are accompanied by the major ground attack, as stated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Meanwhile, the Israeli aerial bombardment has not stopped throughout the Gaza Strip, where another 250 Hamas targets were hit.

According to the humanitarian coordinator of the United Nations, now in the southwestern Palestinian territory, no corner is safe and protected from attacks.

Speaking at a White House press conference with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, US President Joe Biden expressed full support for Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas attacks.

However, he said that this crisis must be given a permanent solution and that is the one with two states, Israeli and Palestinian.
