Some homes inhabited by Jews in Germany have been marked with the Star of David, a gesture that appears to come in the wake of rising anti-Semitism following the outbreak of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

A member of the Jewish community in Berlin, Anna Staroselski shared the photos on social media as she says she has never felt so scared to walk the streets of the city before.

The marking of Jewish homes revives a bitter memory for them, while even during the Holocaust, Jewish homes in Germany were marked with red paint.

In many European cities, including London, Berlin, Paris, but also in the USA, Canada and Australia, massive protests have been held in support of the Palestinians.
