Property dispute, police kill brother with service weapon in Kosovo

A police officer in Kosovo killed his brother with a service weapon. The event took place in the village of Gushtericë in Lipjan at noon this Friday.

Kosovar media suggest that the perpetrator is the effective Milorad Subaric, who pulled out his service weapon and shot at his brother, Dragisa Subaric, leaving him dead.

The cause of the murder is suspected to have been a quarrel over a property. The perpetrator has been arrested by the police, who have launched an investigation to fully clarify the event.

"Today around 15:00, we received information about gunshots in the village of Gushtericë e Poshtme in Gracanica. Immediately after receiving this information, all the necessary police units went to the scene, which encountered a person without signs of life. The suspect (police officer) has been arrested, while currently the police investigators in cooperation with the PIK, have launched an investigation to clarify all the circumstances related to the case ", it is stated in the notification of the Kosovo Police
