The bodies of two people have been pulled from a truck that sank into the water when the Baltimore bridge collapsed in the US. Eight construction workers were working on the bridge when a ship struck it, plunging them into the waters.
Two of the workers were rescued that day, but the search continues for the other four, all presumed dead. Four of the six victims of the bridge collapse have been identified so far.
At a news conference, police identified Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, 35, and Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, 26, as the two workers were recovered by divers from inside the truck. Fuentes is originally from Mexico and Cabrera is from Guatemala.
The names of the other two missing victims, who are presumed dead, are Miguel Luna, originally from El Salvador, and Maynor Suazo Sandoval, a Honduran national.
Search and rescue teams cannot safely navigate the waters due to concrete and debris found in the river. They are using the scanning method and believe there may be other bodies inside the vehicles, but the concrete caused by the bridge collapse makes their operation very difficult.
