Kosovo Assembly Speaker Glauk Konjufca says that if not orchestrated, Serbian attacks on Kosovo police in the north of the country are inspired by Russia.
"The provocations are clear, these attacks are untolerable, they are coming from structures that are directly linked to Serbia, this is because Serbia always has an interest in destabilising Kosovo, even serving as Russia's platform to distribute to other parts of Europe the war which it started through invasion over Ukraine more than a month ago". Says Konjuffa.
At this stage of the clash with the west, according to the head of the Kosovo Assembly, the spread of destabilisation in other regions is only of interest to Putin, and Serbia is showing that it is Putin's tool.
"So these attacks that are happening on the Kosovo Police are also showing how much Serbia is dependent on Russia, since these attacks I do not interpret other than how motivated the conflict should be distributed throughout other parts of Europe, so that the Russian invasion over Ukraine does not have the attention of the democratic world, of the EU and the US. So it is Putin's interest that with the conflict is distributed to other countries and attacks on the Kosovo Police I interpret on this motivation to break out war and destabilisation in other parts of Europe," he adds.
Shortly before that statement by Kosovo's chief parliamentarian, Serbian President Alexander Vucic reiterated the Serbian position not to impose sanctions on Russia. "We are a sovereign country and we decide for ourselves," Vucic said, among other things.
