Russia will formalize its new border on Friday. In a ceremony to be held in Moscow, President Vladimir Putin will sign the annexation of four regions of Ukraine, after the organization of referendums, widely considered a farce.

The confirmation was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, responding to formal requests by the self-proclaimed leaders of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson to join the Russian Federation.

"In the Great Palace of the Kremlin, in the hall of St. George, the ceremony of signing the agreements for the entry of new territories into the Russian Federation will be held. In this activity, there will be a voluminous speech by President Putin", declared Pescov.

Meanwhile, a stage has been erected in Moscow's Red Square, near the Kremlin building, where an event celebrating the annexation of the Ukrainian territory is expected to take place. This development comes after the announcement of the referendum results.

According to the data published by the Russian media, citizens supported the union with Russia with over 90 percent of the votes, except in Kherson, where the votes in favor were at the level of 87 percent. But Western leaders and experts consider the referendum illegal as it does not meet basic criteria and openly violates Ukrainian and international laws.

Now, the war is expected to enter another, more delicate phase, as Russia will claim territorial encroachment on those Western countries that support Ukraine. Thus, it can declare war on them.

We are talking about those areas led to the referendum, which are not recognized by Ukraine or the international community. Not even from Putin's allies.

Precisely to express the position against the annexation of the territory and referendums, the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will hold a conversation with Putin.
