A young man from Kosovo has been arrested by the Police, after cooperating with a Serbian citizen for prostitution.
Citizen Etrit Jashari, 28 years old from Gjilan, who is accused of finding Serbian clients for 7 months, was put in handcuffs.
Jashari is the owner of a bar and is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "encouraging or forcing prostitution" from May to September, at the "Dardania" motel in Gjilan.
In the request for detention, it is stated that the suspect Jashari, for the purpose of his material gain, engaged in the illegal activity of facilitating or forcing prostitution, in which case he enabled the suspect Nadikana Gudinci to offer sexual services with payment in the amount of €60.
The suspect Jashari, according to the information of the Kosovar media, has a criminal past, a history that was taken as a basis by the Prosecutor's Office as a justification that the same should be sent to custody, because it could affect Gudinci and other witnesses, thus hindering the normal course in this criminal case.
This request of the Prosecution was approved by the Court, in which case the Judge of the preliminary procedure assigned Jashar the measure of detention for a duration of 1 month
