Russia shells Kharkiv overnight, 6 dead and 21 wounded

Russian forces have attacked the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine overnight.

As a result, 6 people lost their lives and 21 others were injured. Among the injured is a one-and-a-half-month-old baby and a minor girl.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that during the night Russia launched 48 drones, as well as two missiles and four gliding bombs towards the city.

The nighttime attacks in Kharkiv come after a large-scale Russian airstrike across Ukraine the night before, which killed six people and wounded 80 others.

Russia claimed that military sites were targeted in the attack, which it said were in response to "terrorist acts by the Kiev regime".
