A record temperature of -79 degrees is registered in the USA
Mount Washington

A powerful arctic storm has engulfed the entire northwest of the United States of America since Friday, with record temperatures that reached -79 degrees Celsius in Mount Washington, New Hampshire.

Meanwhile, strong winds have also swept through New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut this weekend. According to the National Weather Service in the US, this freezing cold will be temporary.

But, even in the first days of this week, the wind will be cold, while the temperatures will continue to fall beyond -13 or -14 degrees Celsius. The extreme temperature was recorded in New Hampshire, where the entire national park of Mount Washington was occupied by darkness, extreme cold and ice, where the thermometer for more than 24 hours marked -79 degrees Celsius.

Practically, the country became unlivable.
