"A dangerous storm is coming", the Greek authorities warn the citizens

Eastern Greece will be engulfed the next day by a dangerous snowstorm, which meteorologists have named "Barbara".

The storm will affect northern, northeastern and northwestern Attica.

The Ministry for Citizen Protection has sent a warning message to the residents of Attica at 06.59 this afternoon about the dangerous snowfall that is expected to start tomorrow, February 5.

Through the "Alert" message, the authorities call on the residents of the areas to limit their unnecessary movements and follow the relevant instructions and show caution.
"Warning message for dangerous snowfall from noon on 02.05.2023 in the north, north-east and very-west of Attica. Limit unnecessary movements and follow the instructions of the Authorities", it is written in the alert message that was sent to citizens today.
