Rama: There are organizations and actors abroad who want to keep the protest

As the protest enters its 29th day today, Prime Minister Edi Rama made a distinction between people who have real problems and those who use these problems as fuel to fuel the protest and chaos.

During the "Flasim" podcast, Edi Rama stated that behind the continuous incitement of tensions are individuals, organizations and actors abroad who do not aim to solve the problems, as they need to keep the anger and division alive.

Referring to the message of a citizen named Amos, Rama said: “I understand that when things come to a head, the end of patience has come, but, on the other hand, a just cause should not be allowed to become fuel for those who continue to feed this protest, continue to feed this mess, more spiritual than physical, causing damage after damage, not helping to resolve things. They are people who feed on the problems of others and are people, they are subjects, they are organizations, there are also other actors abroad who feed on the problems of others. Your problem and that of all those like you who go there or who are connected to that thing, is not to “give fuel” to their politics or goals, because they do not seek a solution. They need the solution to never come, because they want to keep alive the anger, the division and the illusion that every wound of a citizen is proof that everything here must be overthrown and Albania must start from scratch. money," the prime minister continued.

The head of government emphasized that solutions will come from those who have the obligation to extinguish every source of trouble, standing over them, and not from those who want to ignite the fires of anger.

"I have an obligation to listen to the person, but not to become a hostage to those who speak in your name. I see the protest of honest people, of people who are not "fuel" for the industry of troubles, as something very respectable, very understandable and revolting to me; it works for me. At the same time, I would ask something of all of you who are in this situation: do not forgive your troubles anywhere. Do not forgive the administration and, if you need me, I am here to fight with you, but do not forgive in any way those who want to take things backwards using your troubles. Because solutions never come from people who ignite the fire of anger, but from those who, despite all their shortcomings and mistakes, have the obligation to "extinguish" every hearth of troubles, standing over them," he said.
