Putin: EU is further inciting war in Ukraine

The Kremlin announced that Vladimir Putin had a long telephone conversation with the President of the European Union, Charles Michel. According to the announcement, Michel has known Putin on the topics of discussion with Ukrainian leaders during his recent visit to Kiev.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin has expressed, according to him, concern that many EU officials are further inciting war in Ukraine.

"Putin had remarks about irresponsible statements by EU officials of the need to resolve the situation in Ukraine with the force of arms and their negligence towards the numerous war crimes of Ukrainian security agencies. It was noted that Brussels could influence Kiev authorities, forcing them to ban massive grenades of inhabited areas in Donbass and refrain from other rude violations of international humanitarian law, the notice says.

The Kremlin accuses most EU countries of taking actions that provoke open Russophobia, which appears in the cultural, humanitarian and sporting sphere.
