All the users in Brazil who during the last hours wanted to use the X platform, once known as Twitter, have not had access, and this is because the authorities have ordered the blocking of the online platform.

The Supreme Court in Brazil ordered the immediate and complete suspension of the social media platform until it complies with all orders and pays existing fines.

The owner of the platform Elon Musk himself reacted to the decision, who did not hesitate to attack the judge, is attacking free speech for political purposes.

Judge Alexandre de Moraes has been embroiled in a long-running dispute with billionaire Elon Musk who refused earlier this year to block accounts responsible for spreading fake news and hate speech.

About 40 million Brazilians who use the platform will now be unable to use the platform and if caught by authorities using it illegally will face heavy fines.

The decision could see X lose one of its biggest and most coveted markets at a time when the company struggles to secure advertising revenue.
