"We are waiting for him to call us", the parents of the missing

" We are still waiting for him to call us ", so say the parents of 22-year-old Albanian Denis Ruci, who is among the missing persons of the tragedy in Larisa.

Panos and Mirela Ruci have been waiting outside the hospital for three days to hear any news about their lover who had traveled to Athens to meet friends and was returning home by train.

As they show cellphone photos of their son, they make dramatic appeals for information on his whereabouts. " I gave the DNA but I have no news at the moment. I call on those who were with him in the wagon, if they saw him, to contact me, to tell me if he was in his seat or if he had moved ," says Mirela Ruçi.

The woman tells through tears that the boy had bought an electronic ticket for the 5th carriage, but there are doubts that he may have moved a few minutes before the crash to go to the 2nd where the canteen was. The first 3 carriages were the most damaged after the head-on collision of the trains.

Dennis' parents say they spoke to him shortly before the accident, when he told them he would be arriving late and not to come early to meet him.

" Dad will come late, he told me, I will call him, don't come early." I'm still waiting for his call... ". The 22-year-old's father then explodes in anger, accusing the authorities of murdering him.

" They are all killers ," he says. Besides the 5 Albanian victims who are said to have lost their lives so far, two other Albanians are in critical condition in intensive therapy.
