One of the escort vehicles of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, had an accident this evening.

The incident happened on the way to Gjilan, and as can be seen from the following images published by the Kosovar media, the truck overturned on the road.

In relation to this event, the spokesperson of the Kosovo government, Përparim Kryeziu, also reacted to the Kosovo media, who informed that Prime Minister Kurti was not in the vehicle that had an accident. According to him, fortunately there were no injuries as a result of this accident.

"On the way to Gjilan, one of Prime Minister Kurti's escort vehicles had a traffic accident. It is not about the car in which the prime minister was. Fortunately, there were no injuries from any of the parties involved in the accident", said Kryeziu.

Meanwhile, during the speech in the municipality of Gjilan, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, mentioned the accident. He said that this accident was one of the reasons for the delay.

"We apologize for the delay tonight because we were at the Kosovo Police camp in Belvedere and we stayed there longer than we planned. Meanwhile, while we were coming to Gjilan, our escort's vehicle, while they were behind us, had a traffic accident. But now we found out that no one was injured, and we were lucky in this disaster", stated Kurti.
