The election process in the north of Kosovo ends!

In the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo, the voting centers for early local elections have begun to be closed.

Citizens of North Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zveçan and Zubin Potok elected new mayors today.

In Zveçan and Leposavic, the citizens also voted to elect new members of the municipal assemblies.

The turnout until 15:00 was 2.4 percent. The election process was boycotted by the main party of Serbs in Kosovo, Lista Serbe - which has the support of official Belgrade - which also called for a boycott.

The authorities have not reported any obstacles to the election process.
