Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Rybkov stated during an interview with the TASS agency that direct conflict with NATO is real and that it will have catastrophic consequences.
"The escalating narrative from European capitals about the growing threat of a high-intensity war with Russia...as well as provocative actions in the nuclear sphere risk a direct clash," he said.
Rybakov has pointed out that Finland's actions to accept the deployment of nuclear weapons from France or even preventive exercises with Poland go against peace in general.
Meanwhile, Russian intelligence agencies have announced that Ukraine is preparing to attack Russian territory from Latvia and other Baltic countries, a signal not only of escalation, but also of new European determination to hit Russia even harder.
Russian agencies are already reporting that Ukrainian units of the Unmanned Forces System are in Latvia at the bases of Adazija, Slija, Lielvides, Daugavpils and Jekabpils.
