Parrot saves the life of a family in Turkey

A parrot has become the patron saint of a small family in the Osmaniye area of Kahramanmaras, because thanks to him, they are alive and well today.

It's about the Çimen family, who woke up to the unusual sounds of their parrot on February 6, not realizing that those sounds would be the saviors of their lives, as even though their mansion almost collapsed in the earthquake, they they managed to get out before that happened, ending up with only a few minor body wounds.

The family members have already taken refuge in the tent city, as they cannot enter their house damaged by the earthquake.

According to Turkish media, 17-year-old M. Çimen, who was staying with her family in the temporary shelter in the parking area, said they were trapped in their house in the Raufbey neighborhood after the 7.7-magnitude earthquake, whose epicenter was Pazarcık. .

The daughter of the family said that he was jumping in the cage making loud noises, while adding that they bought him about 3 months ago and named him "Maviş".

The thing that had impressed them was the fact that until that day, he did not sing much, but on the 6th, about half an hour before the earthquake, he was not restrained inside the cage, jumping from one corner to another.

But, even though they were woken up by this movement of the parrot, the family members were not worried, until the moment when the earthquake started to fall, causing them to go out immediately, but not forgetting their savior parrot.
