Haxhi Thaçi, the father of the former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, spoke about the meeting with the former president who is in The Hague where he is being tried by the Special Court.
According to him, he would have bought a house in The Hague if he had the opportunity and visited his son more often, but he is unable to because of his health.
What he noticed from the meeting with Hashim Thaci was that he had changed physically due to the weight loss.
"Don't be upset, take what you didn't have. He didn't seem upset. There is a lot of weight there in The Hague. You want to haunt me, say that you are doing sports activities there a lot", he said, for Kanal 10.
Thaçi said that he was very afraid that he would be upset because of his age, but added that his son and the others went to get clean.
"By God, I am not upset only for Hashim, but for the whole people. I had nothing to do. I was in The Hague. I'm really getting bored. I am very old. Derja too, since Vallain didn't even go there for a month, I had found an apartment there and I had visited them. But I have no power. My breath has left me. Hashim was fine. I don't know who was more upset. I didn't get too upset, because I know it went for a blank page. She is an honor. He went to his country. All of us who are alive should also think about those who were killed for their country. I told him, don't be upset because you didn't get it. He seems to be bored. I'm worried about how I saw the others," he said.
