The UN closes the session on the dinar with the words of Kurt: Every Serbian

The UN Security Council concluded yesterday's work of the extraordinary session with the speech of the Kosovar Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.

Although the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vučić, insisted on taking the closing speech of the session, the presidency of the UN refused to do so, ending its meeting.

The last to speak was the Kosovar Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, who reacted to the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vučič, for his claims and accusations that the Serbs of Kosovo do not want the Euro currency.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has repeated in the UN Security Council that the Serbian dinar has not been banned in Kosovo.

However, while responding to Vučić's accusations and claims, he stated that every Serbian citizen accepts the Euro without any problem.

"The dinar has not been banned. Believe me, everyone accepts the euro without any problem. We have no case, of any Serbian citizen of Kosovo, who does not accept the Euro. Serbs do not hate the Euro. You can keep money in any currency you want. We, who have been under the occupation of Serbia, know the Serbian language, but they have not learned our language. I have nothing against Serbs, I have friends who are Serbs, I have Serbs in the government. My party, by secret ballot, deputy ombudsman of the Serbian people. I am a social democrat who believes in people. There is no community that is criminal, there are criminal structures. And I do not equate the state with the people, or the people. The people are better than the state. But we also need CBK to cooperate. Converting the tables from KM to RKS was much more difficult, because in our tables we have R, Republic", said Kurti.

He even made a comparison between the issue of license plates and the created problem of the Serbian dinar.

"The Republic of Kosovo is not even written on the Euro, if they have changed the tables, the Euros will have it much easier. We have 10 commercial banks, four of them have branches in the north that can be used for conversions. 15 banking institutions that can be used for currency conversion. I am the prime minister, because Kosovo is a republic. We are committed to dialogue, but you know what? - we have an agreement. EU countries sometimes disagree on a press release. The president of the Russian Federation knew how bad the situation was in Kosovo. We will not take revenge. I want justice, and justice is when there is no revenge", said Kurti.
