A year ago, in the village of Banjské in Zveçan, an armed group led by ex-politician Millan Radoicic attacked the Kosovo Police.

From that time until today, many developments have taken place: Radoicic admitted organizing and participating in the attack, he was investigated in Belgrade and Pristina, where he and 44 other people were indicted for terrorist activity.

While he is believed to be staying in Serbia, a year later in the now quiet village of Banjska, residents continue to live with the mystery of the attack on September 24 of last year.

A few days ago, the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo filed an indictment against 45 people for involvement in the armed terrorist attack in the north of Kosovo, in Banjska a year ago, where the sergeant of the Kosovo police, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed.

According to the indictment, the terrorist group led by Milan Radoiçiçi, aimed to separate the northern part of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo through the use of violence with heavy weapons.

It is further said that as a well-organized group, they tried to join this part of the territory to the Republic of Serbia, and as a result of the violence used, the police officer Afrim Bunjaku died and the lives of other police officers and the civilian population were endangered.

The group consisting of 45 people is charged with "Serious offenses against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo".

The director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, declares that the purpose of the attack was for the north of Kosovo to join Serbia.

"They recruited young boys and men and trained them in Serbia to be able to make such an attack that the north of Kosovo joins Serbia. They had communication all the time with Serbia", he said./ REL.
