Nikola Tesla in Belgrade

A plane traveling from Hamburg to Pristina made an emergency landing at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport .

The Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure in Kosovo, Liburn Aliu, reacted to this news and stated that the forced landing occurred due to a technical problem.

Information about today's flight Hamburg - Pristina (Flt.EW5704)

Today, the scheduled flight from Hamburg - Germany to Pristina by the air operator 'Eurowings' (Flt.Nr. EW5704), departing from Hamburg at 14:30, with 155 passengers on board, was forced to land at 'Nikola Tesla' airport in Belgrade due to technical reasons.

The air operator Eurowings immediately organized and dispatched an alternative plane (Flt. No. EW6005) which picked up the remaining passengers at Belgrade Airport, and at 22:56 flew with the same passengers to the city of Cologne in Germany, where it is expected to land at around 00:45 after midnight.

The Kosovo state authorities, in coordination with Pristina Airport, have been in constant communication and coordination with the air operator Eurowings for the safety and well-being of our passengers who were on this flight.

The passengers' flight to Kosovo will be organized immediately thereafter by the air operator according to the procedures applied in such cases.

We will receive more detailed information regarding the case from the operator Eurowings in the coming days.
