The moment of sexual assault

A girl from Peja, named Mirka Nikqi, has published footage of how she was sexually assaulted by a boy. The event happened in the middle of the Kosovar city last Tuesday, at 20:50.

As can be seen in the following video, the girl is walking and a person approaches her from behind, grabs her from behind and does not let go. She tries to avoid him and manages to escape only after some citizens pass by.

Nikqi has shown in a status on Instagram how the case happened.

"On 09/27/2022, at 8:50 p.m., in the city center of Peja, I was the victim of a sexual assault, a vandal act which was premeditated by the FB person".

She says that the person who attacked her is "a member of a well-known family in the city of Peja".

"As a result of this situation, at the moment I am in a serious emotional state and I cannot fully declare myself. After the all-powerful decision of the Court, I will inform you about the course of the situation and the unscrupulous attacker".

She thanked the law enforcement agencies and citizens "who, with the coordinated commitment, and very quickly, made it possible to identify and arrest the attacker who has left an ugly scar in my life."
