The CEO of smartphone giant Samsung, Han Jong-Hee, has died suddenly at the age of 63.
Han, who put the technology company's television business on the global stage, reportedly died of a heart attack, leaving behind his wife and three children.
Han joined Samsung in 1988 and was seen as having played a key role in bringing its high-end televisions around the world, The Sun writes.
He was credited by the company with taking Samsung televisions "to the top of the global market" and keeping them there.
Jun Young Hyun, the semiconductor chief executive, will now take over Han's duties as the company's sole CEO, Samsung said in a regulatory filing.
