Meloni inspects the situation in Sicily, many homes are on the brink of collapse

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited the area affected by the landslide in the Sicilian town of Niscemi, where she participated in a meeting to assess the situation.

This phenomenon, caused by a powerful storm, has left several houses on the brink of collapse, endangering the safety of residents.

Due to the danger, over 1,500 people have been evacuated.

The Italian government, on January 26, declared a state of emergency for Sicily, Sardinia and Calabria, the three southern regions hit by the storm last week.
