Israeli media: The Turkish airport has refused to refuel our plane

According to Israeli media, Turkish officials allegedly refused to let an Israeli plane refuel after it made an emergency landing in Antalya.

The plane was flying directly from Warsaw to Tel Aviv when the airline said it had to land at Turkey's Antalya International Airport after a passenger fell ill.

Although the flight crew received permission to land and refuel, Turkish officials later delayed the decision, claiming permission was required to refuel the aircraft.

After waiting, the crew was informed that they would not be allowed, forcing them to fly to Rhodes airport in Greece.

All direct flights between Turkey and Israel have been canceled since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, following the October 7 terrorist attack. Turkey announced in May that all exports and imports from Israel would be halted following the Israel Defense Forces' advance on Rafah.
