Hungary's beauty queen, Viktoria Jazmin, says she had the most terrifying moments of her life while visiting the city of Ohrid in North Macedonia.
According to the complaint, a Balkan criminal gang lured the winner of Miss Universe Hungary 2021 to North Macedonia with the promise of a photo shoot.
When the 22-year-old went to Ohrid, she says she fell prey to threats and sexual harassment.
Interpol is currently investigating a person who claimed to be a businessman.
"The first two days everything went well. Then, at the hotel, he approached and tried to touch me. I refused. At that moment he told me that "I will kill you and throw you in the lake, so that you will not be found again for the next 20 years", the young woman told Blikk newspaper.
"I felt terrified, I was afraid. I remember having two glasses of wine. After that I don't remember anything. I suspect that something had thrown me into the drink", she says.
She first informed the family, while for the following days she left leaving everything in the room, and stayed in a shelter under the coordination of the authorities, until her father arrived in Ohrid from Hungary.
The 22-year-old model says she decided to tell her story to make other girls aware not to fall prey to similar situations.
One of her friends who accompanied her reported the incident to Interpol France, which has already started investigations.
"I received threats when it was understood that I had informed the police", says Valeria Pavelin, according to whom, the suspect "is Albanian".
"The photo sessions are organized near Albania, maybe because the girls are seduced by the beauty of the lake, or maybe because if there is a problem, he can escape more easily by himself", believes the French model.
It is suspected that this group has been practicing this activity for several years, and that there are several cases of drugging and raping girls who are invited for photo sessions. The accused introduced himself to the girls as Tom Tomski.
According to the complaint, another Hungarian girl fell prey to the group last year, but since she and her family were threatened, after some people entered her apartment, she refused to identify herself, writes Bliik newspaper.
