The war in Ukraine is continuing very intensively, mainly with air attacks. The Daily Mail writes that Vladimir Putin has brought the "Angels of Death" into battle, which are newly graduated pilots in the Russian Air Force.
They were seen at a parade over the weekend in Krasnodar after graduating from the Serov Military Aviation High School. They are called the "Angels of Death" because they are trained in the use of nuclear bombers and transport aircraft. Sergei Shoigu, the defense minister, said Russia is continuing the glorious tradition.
Meanwhile, in the early hours of Monday, Russia launched a missile attack across Ukraine, including the capital Kiev, causing power and water cuts. At least two explosions were reported in Kiev, while there are still no reports of loss of life or injuries.
Authorities in Kharkiv reported that the target of Russia's latest attack was critical infrastructure facilities. The attacks come as Russia blamed Ukraine for a drone attack on its Black Sea fleet in annexed Crimea.
