The war in Ukraine has reached its 298th day. Russian President Vladimir Putin held meetings in the Kremlin yesterday with the persons responsible for the progress of the war.

"I would like to hear your proposals for actions to be taken in the short and medium term," Putin said during the meeting. On the other hand, Moscow has commented on the EU sanctions, saying that they will worsen socio-economic problems.

Meanwhile, electricity has been restored to nearly 6 million people in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, following a series of Russian missile attacks targeting various energy infrastructures on Friday. This is what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared in his evening speech. "Repair work continues non-stop after yesterday's terrorist attack," Zelensky said.
