"The Guardian": Cocaine at Truss and Johnson parties

A news published by the British newspaper "The Guardian" has caused many reactions that traces of cocaine were found at a party organized by Liz Truss when she was foreign secretary and was competing for the leadership of the Conservatives to take the office of the prime minister.

The paper cites its sources as saying the incident took place at a party held at a government estate in Kent. A member of staff confirmed that they had tested the powder found and found it to contain cocaine.

Possession of cocaine is a criminal offense which can lead to imprisonment for up to 7 years in Britain.

According to the same sources, similar substances were also found in the offices of "Downing Street No. 10" after two holidays held during the quarantine when Boris Johnson was prime minister.

However, the newspaper points out that there is no evidence that Truss or Johnson were present during the consumption of the drug or were aware of its presence. The news was rejected by the British government. A spokesperson said The Guardian had not provided any evidence to support the claims.
