The sign with the Serbian flag was placed on a hill in Mitrovica

Around 10 o'clock today, in the city of Mitrovica, a large metal plate, which carried the flag of Serbia, was removed. The Kosovo Police have confirmed about this action for Klan Kosova.

"Today, the Police made security in the Kroi i Vitaku Neighborhood, while the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, and the Minister of Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi, were visiting. During this time, the billboard that had been standing there in the vicinity also left," Veton Elshani, deputy police director for the northern region, told Klankosova.tv.

In fact, this billboard has been standing on this hill for several years, while it is the second to be removed by the law enforcement agencies.

Last week, on the Mitrovica-Leposavic highway, more precisely at the Zvecan exit, the billboard carrying the photos of the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and that of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, among others, was removed.
