The Republic of Sudan has recognized the Republic of Kosovo.
The news was announced by Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani during her meeting with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
"Congratulations to all the citizens of our state," Osmani wrote, among other things.
This achievement comes as very bad news for official Belgrade, just a few hours after they spread false news that Sierra Leone had withdrawn recognition, which turned out to be completely untrue.
