The three boys had gone out to dine with their families for iftar. But, as soon as they left the restaurant, the family was ambushed and shot with bullets. As a result, 23-year-old Fazli Hoxha died on the spot while his two brothers were injured.

In connection with the event, four people were handcuffed and another was escorted. The two injured are in hospital, while the circumstances of the event are still unclear. Kosovo media write that there were physical clashes between Hoxha's family and the perpetrators, where wooden sticks were used.
