Kurti shows the guarantees he gave for the removal of the barricades: There is
Albin Kurti

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in an interview for Kosovapress, said that there was no secret agreement with Serbia to remove the barricades in the north.

He emphasizes that the only guarantee they gave the internationals was that there are no arrest lists in the north. The head of government categorically denies that he has given guarantees for the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

"There was no secret agreement. There were meetings with KFOR and there were meetings with EULEX and there were meetings with the ambassadors of QUINT, in particular with the one of the USA. Since we have repeatedly said that the patience of the citizens and the government is running out, therefore we give a little more time and a little more space to KFOR, but this cannot be endless. But also, from the meetings we have had, we have begun to notice their increased commitment towards the removal of those barricades, so on Sunday we said that it is a matter of days when these barricades would be removed", declared Kurti.

Kurti said that "if they did not leave KFOR, then the Kosovo Police would be forced to do so. She convinced me directly when I drew her that she has not only the will but also the capacity to efficiently remove those barricades".

The Kosovar Prime Minister talks about the guarantees given. "The only guarantee we have given is what the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has already said, that the Government and Police of Kosovo do not have arrest lists. We do not have lists of people we follow or stalk. But other guarantees for us are the Constitution, order and law and always for the sake of peace and security, coordination with international factors that are our partners and friends".
