Returning to Kosovo for the end of the year holidays, immigrants are attacked

The emigrants who were forced to return from the border point in Merdare, were reportedly attacked with stun grenades by people who stayed at the barricades.

This is what an expatriate who spoke from this border point told KOHEN yesterday.

"We are facing provocations, where one of the Serbs who blocked the road shot us with a noise bomb in our direction", VZ said.

The road leading to Merdare from Serbia was blocked during Tuesday evening.

In this part of the territory, about twenty local Serbs have gathered to set up a barricade and a sign of continuous protest.

The crossing is blocked on the Kurshumlia side of the administrative line.
To obstruct traffic, citizens have placed a truck with trailers and tractors on the road.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo has called for those traveling to Kosovo to avoid this border crossing.
