The deputy commander of KFOR, Federico Bernacca, has spoken within the framework of the Balkan Forum in Budapest, which is organized by the Hungarian Institute for International Affairs.

Speaking about the violence suffered by NATO soldiers during last year's unrest in Zveçan, he issued a strong warning to Serbs or anyone else who seeks violence.

"If you want to mess with our people, you will have to face the entire most powerful military organization in the world," General Bernacca underlined.

"There can be no military solution to the problems between Kosovo and Serbia. "Only through diplomacy and dialogue led by the European Union, the problems can be solved forever," he said.

Federico Bernacca, among other things, said that this does not mean that KFOR does not keep its eyes open 24/7 in every corner of Kosovo's territory.

Meanwhile, NATO has increased its presence in Kosovo after last May's riots and the Serb paramilitary attack in Banjska.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti recently asked for more troops from Great Britain, as he said, to prevent any possible invasion attempts from Serbia.
