The charred body found in the forest near Podgorica in Montenegro is linked to the conflict between the notorious gangs of Kotor, and is that of Vidak Vujovic, 23, a member of the Skaljar criminal group.

The burnt body of the young man was found on Saturday in the village of Steke near Podgorica, while the Montenegrin police yesterday identified the victim who was first shot with three bullets and then burned! Apparently, it is about the suspected member of the Skaljar clan, Vidak Vujovic, 23 years old

According to Montenegrin media, his disappearance was not reported until late yesterday evening, after which the family was invited to identify the corpse. According to reports, they recognized the young man and said they had not seen him for several days. The body was barely burned, and the tattoos on the legs were still visible, which may have helped in identification.

More bullets

The dead body was noticed by a resident who was visiting the property and notified the police. At the scene, inspectors found a gruesome scene in the grove adjacent to the cul-de-sac. About 200 meters away from the main road of the village, there was a half-burnt body and several shell casings near the corpse.

As soon as the body was found, it was assumed that there was a continuation of the war between the two clans of Kotor, Kavaçi and Skaljari, which was soon confirmed by a source from the investigations.

The murder of another member of the Skaljar clan, the fifth in a row in less than a year, from June of last year until today. Two members and senior leaders of this criminal clan, we recall, were executed within just three months of last year.

The Skaljar clan has suffered major blows in the last year. Mercenaries were sent to the already weakened group, which killed Milič Minja Šaković in Budva in June 2022, Goran Vlaović in Pag in August and clan leader Jovan Vukotic in Istanbul in September.

E keqja nuk fle

“Kavaçët” janë të sulmuar, si nga kreu i grupit kriminal kundërshtar, ashtu edhe nga anëtarët e rangut më të ulët. Ndonëse njëri lider i “kavaçit”, Radoje Zvicer, është në arrati, ndërsa tjetri Slobodan Kasçelan, në burg, duket se grupi funksionon pa probleme dhe i arrin qëllimet e tij gjakatare. Nga ana tjetër, “skaliarët” e plagosur rëndë dhe të prerë kokën pësojnë vetëm humbje.

Siç thotë burimi, se e keqja nuk fle, është shfaqur edhe më 9 mars, kur në Beograd në një pompë në Rushnje u vra Ranko Radosheviq Eksobar nga Nikshiqi.

Radosheviç gjoja ishte lider i klanit Nikshiç, por ai ishte jashtëzakonisht bujar ndaj Jovan Vukotiçit dhe klanit Skaljar - kujton burimi.

Since the beginning of the war of the clans of Kotor, the methods of cruel killings were very different, especially when the clan of Veljko Belivuk and Marko Miljkovic from Belgrade took into their hands several murders for the "kavacs".

There were many classic examples, one of them being the assassination that started the war, when Goran Radoman was killed in 2014 in New Belgrade. However, the burning of bodies to hide the traces of crimes is not at all foreign to the Kavaçko and Belivuk clans. According to the indictment, Goran Mihajlovic, for whom the Belivuk clan is accused, as well as Nikolla Stanisic in Lovcen, were killed in this way, according to the recipe of Switzerland. Both were burned in a pile made of car tires.
