Hezbollah attacks the Mossad headquarters in Israel for the first time in

This Wednesday morning, Hezbollah attacked the Mossad headquarters with a ballistic missile.

It is the first time in history that Hezbollah has targeted Tel Aviv, the IDF says. "The ballistic missile aimed at Tel Aviv was intercepted and shot down. This is a clear sign of further escalation," the IDF said in a statement. The statement further states that there are no reports of casualties or injuries.

The Israeli military is calling on Lebanese families who have fled their homes in southern Lebanon not to return yet.

The evacuations began on Monday after Israel launched a wave of heavy attacks on areas where the Iran-backed Hezbollah militant group operates, killing hundreds of people.
