By order of the Court of Mitrovica, the police conducted an action near a branch of the People's Bank of Serbia in Kosovo, and the Treasury Directorate in Leposavic.

The news was confirmed by the deputy police director for the north, Veton Elshani, according to the media in Kosovo.

He said that the operation is part of an ongoing investigation into economic crimes, specifically money laundering.

"By order of the Court in Mitrovica, the premises of the People's Bank of Serbia, the branch in Kosovo and the Directorate of the Treasury, the Ministry of Finance in Leposavic are being raided. Economic Crimes are investigating a case of money laundering that was related to banks earlier," said Elshani.

Investigations into this case are ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge from the responsible authorities
