Mysterious holes of perfect diameter terrify the inhabitants of the Turkish region

The appearance of several giant pits in the Konya region of Turkey has brought panic to the residents of the area about how they could have been created, making the most creative minds think of various conspiracy theories.

16 man-made holes of perfect diameter have been opened in the Konya valley in recent months, at a time when drought has gripped the region.

However, experts have a scientific answer to this phenomenon. According to them, similar events occur in karst terrain where the rock beneath the surface of the earth is naturally dissolved by groundwater.

According to studies, similar sinkholes are appearing in agricultural areas, residential areas and energy investment areas, which pose more risks.
