Vivian Jenna Wilson, the transgender child of tycoon Elon Musk, has declared that she wants to leave the United States after the recent victory of Donald Trump in the presidential elections. The 20-year-old “turned” into a woman made her thoughts known through a post on Threads, explaining that Trump's re-election confirmation prompted her to reflect on her future abroad.

"I don't see my future in the United States," Vivian wrote, criticizing the political climate and growing tensions towards the LGBTQ+ community.

Wilson had severed ties with his father in 2022, when he officially requested a name and gender change. Since then, their relationship has become increasingly strained, with mutual accusations appearing on their social media. Musk, a known supporter of Trump, has stated in several interviews that he believes the separation with his child was caused by the influence of "neo-Marxists" in the elite schools he attended, arguing that this "woke ideology" transformed her into a radical communist.

For his part, Wilson responded with harsh criticism of his father, calling him "cold" and "cruel" in an interview. He also dismissed Musk's accusations that he was "deceived" about the transition path, instead sharing episodes from his childhood in which he claims he was treated harshly for his womanizing behavior. "He wasn't fooled at all," Wilson said, specifying that Musk was fully aware of the medical choices he wanted his child to undergo.
