Erdogan calls Putin: A diplomatic solution is needed, Iran should return to the

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Russian President Vladimir Putin to reiterate that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran should be resolved "as soon as possible" through diplomatic channels.

This was announced by Ankara, according to which Putin stated that he shares the same line with the Turkish leader.

The two presidents agree that priority should be given to regional stability, which according to Erdogan "has been severely tested by Israel's illegal actions."

Erdogan, who also spoke with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, this morning, insists that Iran return to the negotiating table.
