As the work continues to build a new government in Italy, it seems that the clashes between the political forces that are expected to be in power are intensifying.
Such are the clashes between Georgia Meloni, leader of the Fratelli d'Italia party and Silvio Berlusconi, leader of the Forzza Italia Party.
The one who benefits the most in this middle seems to be Matteo Salvini, whose party, Lega Nord, looks set to get a high number of ministers.
From Tuesday onwards, it is expected that there will be a rapprochement, and when the center-right will go up together to the Quirinale for consultations, a solution is also expected to be found.
According to the latest rumours, Antonio Tajani (who is the representative of the softer wing towards Meloni in Fi) should be the next foreign minister. Raffaele Fitto, former force employee but now a fixture of the FDI, has no rivals for the European Affairs department. Adolfo Urso is unlikely to surprise the Ministry of Defense, Carlo Nordio goes to justice and Marina Elvira Calderone would be the technique identified by Meloni for the Ministry of Labor.
Francesco Rocca, president of the Italian Red Cross, is the favorite for the Ministry of Health. Gennaro Sangiuliano, the current director of Tg2, may go to Culture. Guido Crosetto, could be the Minister of Economic Development. The Ministry of Agriculture will go to the League: it is a coveted department, of a "permanent electoral campaign", because it allows you to travel all over the country and maintain contacts with many federations and associations. It will also receive an avalanche of billions in funds from the PRK. Gianmarco Centinaio will probably end up there (Salvini himself has thought about it).
Giancarlo Giorgetti should be the next Minister of the Treasury, Matteo Salvini the Minister of Mobility and Infrastructure.
Prefect Matteo Piantedosi (former head of the Lega leader's own cabinet) would go to the Interior Ministry, with Roberto Calderoli in Regional Affairs. The Ministry of Health may go to Forza Italia, although much will depend on the turn of the clash between Giorgia Meloni and Silvio Berlusconi.
It seems that Matteo Salvini has significantly strengthened his positions within the future government coalition, unlike Berlusconi, who is quite isolated politically, as he has never been before.
